I have been unable to get my IE to start from any location
in my computer. All I get is the hour glass then nothing.
I am able to access it via windows explorer but the links
will not work. I thought I corrected the problem by
removing the new aol 9.0 tool bar from my browser, but it
only worked for a while. Since I get no error message I
have no idea where the conflict is.

We have had a similar problem. Here is a short
discription we posted in a differnt forum... We are still
having this problem. But atleast we can browse the web.

This error message is displayed when attempting to listen
to any music in Windows Media player. We can make it go
away but then that causes another problem. Internet
explorer will not open when we enable "plug and play" in
the system tab in the system configuration utility
(start>run>msconfig) With this disabled it will not allow
any audio to come out of the sound card. In fact the
system is not aware it has a sound card. We are left with
a choice of using internet explorer or having audio. If
anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
