IE 6 was hijacked

I have this annoymg program that has hijacked my IE,
everytime I go to play a game, these stupid ads pop up
and take me out of it. Like I would be playing HALO and
all of a sudden I am poped out of it, and IE is on with
all these ads there. I tried everything I can think of.
Adware remover, I tried uninstalling all the stuff I
downlaoded today. But nothing works. Why do these stupid
programs hijack IE. What can I do to stop it, and make it
work normal again, this crap drives me insane !
