IE 6 SP1 hangs when viewing PDF file

Whenever I view a PDF file inside of IE 6 SP1, it hangs,
and never displays the file. I have to use Task Manager
to kill IE. I can download the PDF file, then view it
directly using Acrobat. I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard.

Anyone seen this?

i've gotten this quite a bit, though with Acrobat 5.0.5. Look at Acrobat's
preferences & make sure it's set only to update manually. It seems it
checks for updates & there's some window you won't see that's waiting for
your OK. Disabling automatic updates corrected it for me.

This was fixed by downloading the latest patch for Adobe
Acrobat 6.0, which is 6.0.1.
