IE 6 SP-1 uses 100% CPU resources

I started to notice that when I select a link from an email message or from
the address toolbar, IE will start using 100% of the CPU resources. The
task manager shows 100% CPU usage. If I run IE directly this does not
happen. Anyone know what is going on?

Scan with antivirus using updated definitions. Remove spyware with tools
such as Spybot S&D and/or Ad-aware.
