I have an user who has a WinXP Home Edition notebook and he came across
following IE problem.
<Problem 1>
When he goes to www.msn.com using the IE 6.0 Sp1 and clicks on some
hyperlinks, the "An error has occurred in this script on this page" is
returned.
"An error has occurred in this script on this page
Line: 24
Char: 5
Error: Invalid Character
Code: 0
URL: http://www.msn.com/
<Problem 2>
When he goes to Corporate intranet web sites, almost all hyperlinks can be
opened when he double clicks on the hyperlink. When he right click on the
same hyperlink and then choose "Open in new window", then the hyperlink (the
web application) can be launched properly in another new IE window.
Any ideas to fix the above two issues?
I have already followed Microsoft article Q318378 to reinstall the IE for
the user.
Thanks.
