Problems with IE6 - Browse and Update
recently started having some problems with IE6
[a] the browser failes to laod certain websites (that
through checks with other online contacts are functioning)
when trying to access sites like www.sierastudios.com,
eagames etc kepp getting error page cannt be loaded.
[a cont.] also with some site cannot navigate all the way
through; eg I can get to the java website but if i try
and use the download links get the same error messages as
above - page cannot be displayed, might be down etc .....
I thought I would try a clean isntall of IE6, but
every time I try and sue the installer (freshly
downloaded) get the error message that a previous version
has pending changes that require a reboot. Obviously I
have tried to reboot several time and it seems to make no
difference - I continue to get the same error message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
