IE 6 Problem

Why can't I open websites such as nba.com and weather.com.
The error message reads: "Internet Explorer can't open the
Internet site http://www.nba.com/ Operation Aborted". If
you click OK on the message box, then it goes to "the page
can't not displyed".

I remember that I have installed a free trial pop up block
software. But even after I disabled and uninstalled the
software. This still happens. Can someone help me? Thanks
a lot.
