Webpage open problem

When I tried to open some websites, there is a error
message: "Internet explorer cannot open the internet site
<web address>. Operation aborted". Those websites include
nba.com and weather.com. I am using windows 2000 and IE
6.0 with all service packs downloaded. 99% of all other
websites work normally such as yahoo.com, cnn.com,
ebay.com. Please help me since I thought I should be able
to check weather.com. Thanks a million!!!

Get both of these programs
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org
Ad-aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
After you install them check for updates, then go ahead
and run them. Set Ad-aware for "deep scan". In Spybot
delete any red entry. In Ad-aware quarantine everything
it finds.
