IE 6 problem with Microsoft Antispyware

Guest

After accepting all of the flagged programs identified by the MS Antispyware
Beta program, my IE stopped working.

The error message is "The procedrue entry point InternetGetConnectedState
could not be located in the dynamic link Library Wininet.dll."

This keeps me from reinstalling IE or from completing downloads from
Quicken. The error message is pervasive and is defficult to get rid of.
Also, the fix procedure from the Add/Remove platform in the Control Panel
also does not fix this problem. HELP?

This might help. I had a similar spy ware program that kept EI from
going to any web sites. If you have Win XP, try restoring the
computer to the day before you loaded the anti spy ware. It worked
for me. good luck
