IE 6 on XP "not responding" or hangs

I run a Pent 4, 1.5, XP Home Dell. I am having
intermittent "not responding" or hangs when I am using
IE, especially when I surf within a site. For example I
hung the first time I tried posting this question.

I am running Norton Personal Firewall and don't know if
that has anything to do with it. I checked the Microsoft
knowledge base and there are some similar "hang" items
but they seem quite specific and my issue happens at
different times and on different sites. Those specific
issues do give registry fixes but I don't knoe if they
will help me.

Anyone had similar issue or heard of this or can offer
any help?

I am having the same problem. Do you have to perform a
hard reset?

No, I do not have to perform a hard reset. But I must
end the session (ctrl/alt/delete)which in turn prompts
the error reporting screen. I figure if I keep sending
this error maybe Microsoft will find a fix.
