Occasionally, when I am surfing the web, Internet Explorer (version
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) SP2 will seem to lock up (even when
loading a relatively simple website). The problem seemd to start happening
after I ran Microsoft Anti-Spyware earlier in the year (maybe sometime
between March and May) after I removed some Spyware that MS Anti-Spyware
found. Now, I'm not sure what to do to get IE to operate smoothly like it
used to. IE seems to lock up at random times...usually for at least 10
seconds.
Here's my specs:
- Dell Dimension 4550
- P4 2.0Ghz
- WinXP Home (SP2)
- 512 MB RAM
- 120 MB Hard drive
- NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420
- SAMSUNG CD-R-RW
- SAMSUNG DVD-ROM
- Creative SB Live! Series (WDM) w/ 5.1 channel surround sound Altec Lansing
speakers and subwoofer
Thanks...
