Jim

If somebody could help me with this it would be greatly
appreciated.
I just updated to IE 6 from ??? version and am running
WinME.
HAve been using internet no problems, all of a sudden
today I am doing about four things at once on the internet
and IE locks up on me. When I try to exit out an error
report is generated. If I click don't send it doesn't do
anything, If I send it, it goes about its normal course of
action but then when I press close it generates another
error report. If I uncheck the Restart Microsoft Internet
Explorer option then it closes, but if I try to reopen
another session of IE I get the same error report.
Do I need to disable the error reporting tool and if I do
why did this occur. And will this fix the overall problem
or just the error report.
Any help will be appreciated and as I can't get online at
home any replies will be few and far between as I am using
the computer at school to download some virus detection
software and check-out the KB.

You might also download these two programs and install them on you home
machine. It might be that at some point you picked up something you don't
want.

It is possible you may have parasites, spyware, adware or
malware on your system causing the problem. Download
and install, you *must* update the programs prior to running to
be sure they have the latest definitions, then run the programs
below. They are free and very effective.Be sure to run both
SpyBot and Adaware, as what one does not detect the other
may. It is important that you follow all directions carefully:

SpyBot Search & Destroy: Free
