IE 6 font problems on some webpages

On some webpages my font in IE is very very small,
unreadable. Microsoft.com is the worst actually. I
downloaded Mozilla and am not having the problem. I don't
see this as a solution, just a temporary get around.
Changing my screen size only makes it worse. The words are
bigger but they are missing pixels.
