IE 6 error message on XP Home edition

I am running IE 6.0.2800.1106.XPSP2.030618-0119 on MS
Windows XP Home edition. I get an Internet Explorer
message rading "Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." The frequency is: one message per url
visit.

How do I get rid of this inconvenient message?

Hi,
This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
