IE 6 doesn't display web pages

Hi all
My IE6 doens't seem to display any web pages that I go to, I got the screen saying "page can not be displayed'. I know that my internet connection is working fine, because I can ping any web sites. Please help me

When you say that you can ping any web site, are you doing it by domain name or IP address?

I ping it by the domain name, let say I ping www.yahoo.com, I get reply ip address 66.218.71.198. But if I type in www.yahoo.com in the browser URL, i get 'Page can not be display' message

NO, I don't have any firewall running, i'm using DSL to connect to the internet, I only have a router running below the DSL modem. It was working great until recently
