IE 6 closes without any warning on certain pages

Hello all,
I am running xp home on a toshiba laptop. i have had no problems with IE
before this, but recently it has been closing without any warning on certain
pages (myspace.com, music.yahoo.com). I have run a spyware and virus scan of
the entire hard drive many times and can't find anything that would cause
this. Everything is up to date with the OS.

Any and all ideas are appreciated.

Got any filtering software that may be blocking access to certain web pages?
For example, the two domains you mentioned are commonly blocked at work.

Thanks for your help but neither of these posts apply. I have scanned the
entire drive many times with Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Windows Defender, and none
of them has found anything. I do use this computer at school and they do have
a block on myspace.com but this only happens when I am at home. I don't have
a block on it there. With that, it only closes on certain profiles. With
regards to yahoo.com, I use that to watch music videos. It closes there when
I try to watch one. It closes the window, but the music is still playing.

Thanks for your help. Any other ideas are appreciated.
