IE 6 Closes When Closing a PDF in Separate Window

I am visiting a website that launches a PDF in a separate
window. After I close the PDF, IE locks and eventually
shuts down. I have downloaded SP1 for Windows and IE 6
as well as uninstalling Adobe 5.0 and installing only the
reader. This does not happen when using the AOL browser.

HELP!!
