IE 6 closes unexpectedly

Internet Explorer closes after clicking ok on a "click to run an ActiveX on
this webpage" window. I am using XP service pack 2. Not sure what is going on
but it is getting really aggrivating because I go to this site everyday. Can
someone help me out?

Have you done a malware search?
So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose default
install is loaded with malware. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along.

I really do not think it is caused by any messenger considering I have had my
messengers forever. The webpage that I am trying to access is my own on
MySpace, and my friends page also. Until recently I have had no problems. The
graphics and such on those pages were created by me. I am at a loss. I am
however looking through your suggestions just in case. Any other ideas?
