IE 6 browser identity is Mozilla

I'am having a problem with my IE6 browser, when accessing
my yahoo mail account with IE6 yahoo informs me my
browser type is not supported and will not display
correctly. I found a website to check browser settings:

and this site tells me my browser type is Mozilla
4.0.....But it really is IE6. I have uninstalled all
Mozilla related browsers ie.....Netscape, Mozilla...etc.
Is there a setting in Win Xp that tells your browser type?
I have also did a windows repair procedure from the cdrom
boot up which didn't help any. I've tried unchecking IE
under the install additional options under win xp pro and
rechecking it, still unsolved. Is there anything someone
might know of to correct this?

Here is an in depth look at user agents and the logistics
of it. (found on google in 10 seconds, search words "IE6
is mozilla 4.0?") Try other keywords like user agents,
spoofing, etc..
