IE.6.0 works with Cav.Internet but will not with AOL?

OMEGA

When Cavalier internet is active the IE browser works fine
with connecting to websites, but as soon as AOL is active
the IE browser will not connect,and gives error messages
ranging from, (currently) at the bottom lefthand
corner,the browser is trying to connect to a site numbered
127.0.0.1? Is this what is in the HOST file? Thank you for
your time.........

Sorry should have said

If you do have a HOSTS file (no extension) rename it "oldhosts".
