IE 6.0 WON"T OPEN

When I click the IE 6.0 icon, the program does not open.
The desktop does not change at all.
SBC YAHOO DSL support did not resolve the issue.
I'm using Win XP Pro with all upgrades.
Please help.

Try using the "New Connection Wizard"
(Programs>Accessories>Communications), to make a new IE
Dialer. (disregard the prompt to make a new email
account). If the wizard does not work you may have a
virus.
If still nothing try the "reinstall \ Repair" option of
IE6 or use the IE SP1 upgrade.
