link opens window w/ other browser

i just started using IE 6.0 w/ my new DSL connection.

After clicking on my newly created links I find that
another page opens w/ the sbc/yahoo browser that i
initially installed w/ the DSL.

How do I make IE6 the only browser used w/ my links, and
stop a new page from opening when I click on the link.
 
Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
