IE 6.0 Installation problem

I tried to repair the IE 6.0 as my browser has been
pausing occasionally and not responding until several
seconds passes by. I have a DSL connection and that
appears to work well as my laptop does not show this
problem.

To fix this issue I tried to re-install IE 6.0 (I am
running Windows XP on my desktop) after working on
regedit I could start the installation procedure. But
the installation failed in the middle of way stating the
software I am insatlling, IE 6.0, deos not pass windows
logo program testing!!???

1.) Does anyone know how I can reinstall IE 6.0 without
seeing above error?
2.) By any chance has my video card driver anything to do
with the pause in my browser?

Thanks,
MM

Repair or Reinstall IE6

Follow this link: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

Look for: 'When installing an update you receive the following message:
"Software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing"'

I would suspect, however, that reinstalling IE6 won't solve your problem.

I had that problem too while running under W98. Some sort
of wierd IE bug. Really F'n obnoxious! Ended up using
Navigator until I went to Win2000. Navigator would always
bring the pages right up while IE twirled it's brain.
