IE 6.0 home page

Every time I sign on to IE I have this page comming up
for home page : res://mshp.dll/index.html#10213
I use to have www.msn.com
I cleanind browser, temporary, coocies, hystory, reset my
browser that the home page will be msn.com checked apply
and still every time I open this page is the home page.
This happened only resently. I have Win XP.

Have you checked your hosts.txt file? Your system tries
to render all domain names from this file before going out
to your DNS server. It is possible to cause the form of
redirection you are describing by creating a entry in this
file. Hosts.txt is located in <systemfolder>\system32
\drivers\etc. You can view and alter the file using
notepad.

Also you should update your virus definitions and do a
full system scan. And download Spybot Search and Destroy
and run it.

Thanks for all your advise! I tried everything even
install Ad-Aware to get rid off some files. Some one told
me to delate files in regedit but non of this helped.
Than when I removed a programm called "iefeatsl" at
ad/remove it worked! I have Norton updated, firewall etc.
I dont now how I got that. Thanks again!
