IE 6.0 Home Page

Every time I sign on to IE I have this page comming up
for home page : res://mshp.dll/index.html#10213
I use to have www.msn.com
I cleanind browser, temporary, coocies, hystory, reset my
browser that the home page will be msn.com checked apply
and ok
and still every time I open IE this page is the home
page.
This happened only resently. I have Win XP. What is this
mshp.dll?

How you know if hijacked? I have Norton 2003 updated
allways & firewall anabled. How you find out? Go to that
website which you just posted?

Hi,

Go to Start/Run/Msconfig/Win.ini/Windows and uncheck Run = fntdlr.exe. Once
done remove the five entries via Start/Run/Regedit using Find for:
mshp.dll. One in Local Machine, the others in Current User. And also the
dll itself from C:\Windows.

Carey thanks! I downloaded tha programm cleaned my comp
but still the home page was redirected. Finally I
uninstalled a programm, which I did not know how got
installed in the first please and it worked. The programm
name was: >iefeatsl<

Kelley, thanks for the help. Unfortunatley I dont have
Windows under Start/Run/Msconfig/Win.ini/ I tried to
delete under regedit but came back always.
Finnaly I unistalled the programm : >iefeatsl< and did
fix the home page problem. I don't know how did get
installed in the first place.
