IE 6.0 and Viewing Java

I've been struggling over the past few days to view Java
programs from the web, specifically Java stock charts,
using IE 6.0 and Windows XP. I have been successful doing
so in Windows 2K and cannot figure out where my
configuration problems is. Thoughts?
