IE 6.0 crashes computer.

Just recently, IE 6.0 has been crashing the computer. I am
unable to use ctrl+alt+delete and I have to perform a hard
reset. I've disabled third party extensions from the
browser, ran ad-ware and an antivirus scan, uninstalled
and reinstalled java. Any suggestions on how to resolve
this problem.
