IE 6.0.2900 (XP SP2) Information Bar harassment

When trying to view a .html file containing Javascript, both stored on my PC, the Information bar kicks in telling me <To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options...>. In the help file it is stated that, if you want to 'switch off' the Information bar, you have to do so for each of the settings involved.

As I know that the .html files and the Javascripts on my PC are safe (I coded them myself), I followed this procedure:

- I made the 'My Computer' security zone visible (see http://p2p.wrox.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4360)
- I checked 'Enabled' for ALL the settings.

Result: the Information bar still gives me the same warning.

What are my options?

Hi LucB,

Though you've altered the security settings for the My Computer template, SP2 stores the Lockdown template in a different area. See this page for workarounds: http://www.winxptutor.com/lmzunlock.htm
