IDs for questions

Hi there

Just a point about these discussion groups. It would be so much easier to
find individual messages if they were given IDs to search against. Any chance
of sorting this out?

All newsgroup posts have IDs. For example, the ID of the message you posted,
to which this is a response, is
I don't know
whether Microsoft's web-based interface exposes IDs or not, as I never use
it. Outlook Express does, and so does Google.

Thanks for the heads-up. Interestingly, your reply does include an ID to the
original post, but the original post itself does not include its own ID. So I
can search for a post ID on Google? That might be the way forward.
