Identifying a Word document's originating machine

G

Gnasher

Given a Word document on disk created on one of a number of machines that
you have easy access to, how can you tell which of those machines the
document was originally created on?

Supplementary: Can you tell what other machines the document has been
opened or edited on?

I don't believe there is any information about specific machines in a Word
document. The Properties view in File Open will show you the Word version
and author/creator (based on the User Information tab in Tools | Options)
and (on the same basis) the user by whom it was last saved.
