Hi. Do I need to have the IDE Legacy UDMA turned on in my Bios when I
add a second hard drive? Thanks. Dingo

yeah, if your HDD supports it.
 
IDE Legacy refers to the original Dual channel IDE controllers, not the
newer Serial ATA or Raid. Where exactly will you be connecting the
second drive ? Most Motherboards have 2 IDE connectors, referred
to as Primary and Secondary. Each controller can handle two devices
Master & Slave. (Controlled by a Jumper block on the drive).
Ultra-DMA (Direct Memory Access) should be enabled for both of
the IDE controllers & Channels. Wherever you install the drive it's best
to set BIOS to autodetect the parameters of the drive.
