IDE drives gone??

I have two 200GB IDE drives and I recently got an 80GB SATA drive. I
installed Windows to the SATA drive and hooked up the two IDE drives
for storage. At that point, things got a bit screwed up because I had
two drives with active partitions (my old main IDE drive and the SATA
drive). By wiping the IDE disk with the active partition I was able to
resolve the issue at that time, and use all three drives successfully,
the SATA being the boot drive with Windows installed, etc.

Now all of a sudden both of my IDE drives have vanished. BIOS can't
detect them and they don't appear in Windows.

Anyone have any ideas at all??? Thanks!

I had that exact problem and determined that the power supply was not strong
enough. First double check the power connections to the HD's and if OK than
disconnect one of them and see if it will reconize them.
I actually now have WIN XP installed to two of my HD's and have no problems.
I have one 200GB IDE, one 400GB SATA, and one 38GB SATA (10,000rpm), two
optical drives. The ANTEC 430w PS is working very well for me.
