IDE Controller Advance Settings Tab is missing

I was going to see if my devices on the primary and secondary ide
controllers were in dma mode but the Advance Settings was not there. How do
i get it back?
 
Reload the M/B chipset drivers, especially the IDE driver!

In that case the drivers are from a third party - probably Intel or VIA,
which you can check in properties - driver page of the controller, .
Those assume that if a device reports as being DMA capable you will want
to use DMA
