Hi

On our Windows 2000 Server SP4, which is an Exchange 2000 Server, we are
seeing EventSystem errors ID 4097 in the Application Log. Here is its
description:

"The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal
processing. HRESULT was 80080005 from line 42 of .\eventsystemobj.cpp."

At the same time, in the System Logs, we are seeing DCOM errors ID 10010,
with the following description:

"The server {1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-00C04FB926AF} did not register with
DCOM within the required timeout."

These errors are completely new. Does anyone know why they are appearing.
If no one knows, please tell me which newsgroup I should post this question.

Thanks

The error code that I get in the EventSystem error, is 80080005. However, in
the link you provided me, I wasn't able to look up the explanation for this
error code, because I am not a subscriber. Do you know what this error code
implies?

Thanks
