ICS: Win2000=Host WinXP=Client

I have two computers networked through a hub.
host: win2000 pro sp4
client: winxp pro sp2

host computer is setup to share dialup connection. network is operational,
but on cliet computer, i cannot ping past the host.

ive tried tinkering with it and it just wont go through. ive had this setup
working before, but lost power and now i cant reconfigure it at all. please
help.

Without any details of how you've set up the network, it's hard to say
what's wrong. Make sure that a firewall on the host computer isn't
blocking access from the client.

The host's LAN connection should have IP address 192.168.0.1 The
client's LAN connection should get an IP address in the range
192.168.0.2-192.168.0.254 from the IP host.
