Hi all,
I have 1 desktop PC and 2 laptops connected to each other on a network via a
switch.
All are running XP Pro.
The desktop has an external ISDN terminal adaptor connected to it for access
to the internet.
I am running ICS on the destop to share the internet connection to the
laptops.
The LAN works fine, I can see all computers from each other and access the
shared folders, both laptops are getting their IP addresses from the
desktop, and I can ping the desktop using the IP address and computer name.
The desktop can access the internet fine and the laptops can browse the
internet, get email etc. when the internet connection is made from the
desktop.
The problem that I have is that the laptops won't launch the internet
connection unless it has already been launched by the destop PC, but they
will join in on an existing session.
All firewalls have been disabled for testing and I have selected the option
to allow other computers to control the internet connection.
Please could someone give me some tips,
Thnx in advance,
Graeme.
