Going on 30 hours now, trying to set up ICS in a new
Dell. On the Advanced tab in Network Connections, I can
only select to turn on firewall. There is nothing else on
the page. Trying to set up a wireless network. Had a
wired network with an older HP, and had to do nothing.
What's up??!!

The ICS option only appears when all of these are true:

1. There are one or more Ethernet connections for the home network
(LAN). ICS can't use a serial or parallel connection. With more than
one Ethernet connection, there will be a box asking you to specify
which one to use for the home network.

2. The Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on the home network
connection(s).

3. The Internet connection isn't bridged.
