ICS - Almost there

Hello all,

I am almost at success with my network ICS, but must be missing that one
little last thing.

I have Win98SE on the desktop, and XPpro SP2 on the laptop. I got the
network set up and that works fine.

For the shared internet connection, the desktop can see the internet
gateway connection (which is on the laptop). It can even disconnect
that connection. But it just won't use it. It can't load any web pages
at all.

I've read a gazillion web pages and newsgroup messages, but just can't
get to that last clue.

Here is the info from ipconfig for the laptop:

I really don't understand much of this ipconfig information.

I put each computer's address into the ZoneAlarm trusted zone. Then I
uninstalled ZA from the desktop, but not the laptop.

I'm not getting any errors, except the IE ones about not loading the page.

Can anyone suggest the next step for me?

Thanks so much for any help.
