hi. is there a way to change the size of the desktop
icons without changing the screen resolution? maybe a
regestry tweak? i don't want to install any third party
software. thanks.
 
Make it any size you want. Start - Control panel - Display - Appearance - Advanced and change Icon. Remember the icons usually exist at 32x32 or16x16 bit - windows will attempt to resize it but may look like shit.
