icons

After reinstalling windows xp, I have a monitor with no
icons. Any ideas?????
 
Hi!
Do you mean desktop icons?
If so then,right click on the desktop>select properties>click Desktop
tab> "Customize Desktop">you will get My Computer, Internet Explorer,
Recycle Bin, My Documents and/or My Network Places can be easily added.

Hi,

Did you reinstall or repair install?

A default installation (which is what you get if you just reinstall) has no
icons on the desktop by default.
