I am a brand new computer user and I hit something and the Icons that
were on the main Windows page and they ALL disappeared!! How do I get
them back.

See if this is what you did : Right-click anywhere on the desktop and
hover over 'Arrange Icons By". Make sure there's a checkmark next to 'Show
Desktop Icons'

What "main Windows page"? - Desktop?

Right-click the desktop -> Arrange Icons By -> Show Desktop Icons
