Icons won't load

My computer seems to have a problem on bootup. If I immediately click on my
personal settings, the icons will not load. If I wait, say 20 seconds before
I click to load my personal settings, everything is fine. Is this normal
behavior? I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with a 2.6 GHz processor with XP home
edition with service pack1 as an OS. Thanks in advance, Rodfree.

Greetings,

I'm not so sure about this problem. It might be due to alot processes still
loading thus the icons haven't loaded yet. However, just try scanning your
computer any adware or spyware:

Try these programs to check for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

Thanks and best of luck!
