Icons in notification area

Just bought a new monitor with greater pixel density than the previous.
With optimum settings this makes the icons to the right of the taskbar
quite small. Is there any way of enlarging them? (Unchecking "use small
icons" in task bar only affects icons on left.)

Check a site like this ?

In one example there, they actually scaled up some icons stored in a DLL.

"Copy the taskbarcpl.dll on another partition.
Then open the dll with Restorator (x32, x64)
or Reshacker (x32) and change them."

Apparently, these are the icon resources in some DLL.

By the way, you didn't say what OS you had, and the answer
might differ depending on OS.

The above was presented, purely for its comic value (i.e.
giant hacking exercise, fun with Take Ownership and defeating
Windows File Protection and the like). I don't really think
you want to do that :)

And yes, the notification icons on my W7 laptop, are too small.
No argument there. I need to switch to the bionic eye, to see them.

New glasses seems an easier solution. Thanks.
