icons have changed

hi
cannot find my original post so if i'm in the wrong section please tell me

some of my program icons have changed 4 of them
they are now a white piece of paperwith like a window on it with 3 colored
dots
red, blue and green

i can still use the programs but the icons are not what they used to be or
what they should be

can anyone help with this ?

R.click on the program,properties,customize,change icon.And/or.open folder
options in control-panel,file types,edit the program/icon...
