Icons became too small

Icons became too small in the toolbar, taskbar and in the upper left corner of every opened window. What can I do with tham to recover their origibal size? Thank you

Change the monitor resolution from say, 1024x768 to 640x480. Knock it down a
notch or 2 and see how you like it. If you are using a flat panel monitor
you are pretty much locked in to their default resolution.

Hey Richard, thanks for replying

A tried what you advised me, but hasn't worked. While trying your solution, I realized the actual one was the same resolution than the one I used to have when the icons where looking properly

The problem began when I booted the notebook a couple of times with no services, trying to work out a terrible delay (using MSCONFIG). Actually startup is working properly , but the small-icons problem persists

Control Panel - Display - Appearance. Click on Advanced, then select
Item - Caption Buttons and adjust the size. Click Apply on the way out
