Icons are highligted

The lettering undder my icons are highlighted. Justed started doing this a
couple of days ago. Was never highlighted before. How do I fix this problem

The icons on your Desktop??

Desktop icons and icon labels may not display background transparency or the
drop shadow effect in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP

Also,

If you have "Lock Web Icon on Desktop" enabled will cause this. Right-click
on the Desktop and expand Arrange Icons By to uncheck "Lock Web Icon on
Desktop". Alternatively you can go into the Display Properties in the
Control Panel, select the Desktop tab, then click the Customize Desktop tab,
and select the Web tab. Uncheck "Lock Desktop items".
