Icons and Text get messed up whenever monitor setting is changed

T

Tiriel

It seems that whenever i changed the resolution of the
monitor or the screen refresh rate the icons on the
desktop are suddenly outlined in blue. This is very
annoying. Is there any way to remove this???

It shows the normal icons, but all around the edges is
blue and the background for the text is now blue all time
time, instead of the normal clear.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Transparent Icons:
Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings/ Visual
Effects/"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

Also:

Right click the desktop and select Arrange Icons by. Towards the bottom of
that list, uncheck "Lock web items on the desktop."

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
