Icon problem

My Desktop Icons for My Computer, My Network Places and
Recycle bin have reverted to the unknown Icons. I have
gone into Display Properties | Desktop | Customize
Desktop | and restored them, but when the system is
either restarted or booted up fresh they are back to the
unknown Icon. Does anyone know what has happened or how
to fix?

after changing desired icons go to themes tab and use
save as button to create your new themes file. keep this
file.

Thank you however do you have any other thoughts. I have
saved the Theme "Save as" a new name, but receive the
following errors message; "The Theme could not be loaded
because one of the needed Theme files could not be found.
This happens with the Themes that are not installed or
authored correctly. You should verify that the wallpaper,
screensaver, icons, sounds, and other files are in the
correct location."

Is there somewhere I can find the correct file locations
so that I can verify mine are correct?

try down loading TweakUI, home ed at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/downloads/powertoy
s.asp professional at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys
...asp

then in TweakUI select repair, rebuild icons, then press
repair now button. This should fix it.

I have the same problem!

Did anybody found a way to fix it?!?!? :'(
