Icon Labels

Arthur

My Icon labels are showing the desktop colour rather than
being transparent.
"lock web items on desktop' is not checked.
And as far as I know no shortcuts have been set to active
desktop.
Please Help

Right-click on your desktop and select:

Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web (tab)
and uncheck "Lock Desktop Items", click OK and APPLY.

Also, check this setting:

Right-click MY COMPUTER and select:
Properties > Advanced > Performance settings >
Visual Effects, place a check next to "Use Drop Shadows
for Icon Labels on the Desktop", then click "apply".

Thanks Carey
I followed your suggestions and it solved that little quirk that has been
bugging me too - Thanks
Doug
