Icon for drive

I am having an issue with the hard drive icon showing for one of my hard
drive partitions. On a previous installation of windows I somehow managed to
use the Home Network wizard to use the second partition as the destination
for the app that you use to configure other workstations. Which caused the
partitions icon to change to the flash drive/network wizard icon.

I have re-installed windows, and now the drive has the standard unknown
document type image (a white page with a explorer window in the middle). I've
copied the files off of it, reformated it ... and am still not getting my
hard drive icon back.

Any suggestions?

Look at the root of the drive you should find autorun.ini, delete it.
Well rename it first to make sure (Reboot).

Or

Create a autorun.ini with the icon of your choice

[autorun]
ICON=Your Icon
